Poem On Sunday

I'm not at church today

I'm in the backwoods instead

I've woken and said the Lord's prayer

Then I sat meditating

I repeat the Jesus prayer and the Rosary

And then make coffee

I've had a cup and plan another

God is with me always

This world is the dream

Reality is much greater 

Than my limited senses can no

I am thankful for all that I have here

I am grateful for God's grace

This is paradise
