I first did it after a patient aesthetician told me she had many ‘nail biters’ who responded to having their nails coated. Once under real stress I had flowers painted on the nail to avoid biting. I couldn’t destroy the art. Covid has made a rare event fairly routine given concern with immunity. It remains a a fun outing for Laura and I. She likes painted nails.
This year I’ve gone green for Christmasa. She’s gone red. We’re definitely fruitcake together.
