Vancouver Opera Riots
It's fall 20011 and the Vancouver Opera's performance of Traviata has been marred by riots. Wheelchairs and walkers have been torched. Young Divas in gowns are rolling about the ground in front of riot clad Vancouver police. White haired ladies in sequined dresses are putting the boots to tuxedoed gents. The orchestra conductor is fending off a violin wielding VSO player. It is hoped that police on horses will be able to disperse the crowds some of whom have been identified as former Vancouver Canucks fans!
