Journal - Rain

The deluge is on. The rain sounds on the roof. Madigan doesn’t want to go out in the heavy rain. We wait for the lulls in the storm to go for walks. He’s continuing to wear the cone. I just fed him an antibiotic pill in butter.  Perhaps tomorrow he can get it off and have the stitches removed. It’s seven days.

I was down to my last cup of coffee when I bought some more at the Market. I picked it because it had the name WILLIAM and showed a sailboat. It’s not that tasty but it’s coffee.  I may roast up some more Ethiopian and add it to this for taste. It was cheap. 

I continue to be concerned about paying off credit cards.  I accept the mobile home loans as mortgage but want to pay off the credit card so I’m ahead this week.  I’ve Camper repairs and plumbing to do so there’s outgoing costs. I do want to be ahead when I go south. I’ll have little money coming in over Christmas. The truth is I’m fine so this concern is spiritual and reflects my lack of faith where money is concerned, Never before have I been so stable and younger I just believed if I did the right thing God would provide.  God has,  

Inflation is a problem going south.  I am disappointed in the wasteful corruption of the leadership in government.  Corruption index has risen high in last 10 years and cost of living has increased while quality of life has declinied exponentially.  Muslim immigration has increased crime and rape.  The media shows increasing favouritism in the government with more attacks on white people and middle class. Churches burn.  

I don’t understand the policies. I’m glad that climate change scientists are pushing back against the alarmists.  

But the colors of the autumn are beautiful. Rain cleanses the air.  The plants are singing.  I’m working mostly from home so don’t have to drive on the freeway to work.  I’m here with my dog who is recovering well from minor surgery.

I’ve been able to to gift this week. God is good all of the time.

I have grouse to barbecue for dinner tonight.  Rice or potatoes to accompany.  The refrigerator is full.  He’s been eating more Go dried food. I need to make a trip to Bowsley’s for more wet Tikki food. 

Thursday is alike Friday as it’s my last day of booked patients. I’m looking forward to Mary Lou’s return.  

I’m reading a science fiction military book with an alien that invades every 50 years. That’s called the Push.  The book is now about preparation and the crews.  Good fun.  I’m watching the sci fi comedy Orville on tv.  

Life is good.  God is good . Thank you Jesus.
