Wind Storm in Aberdeen

The weather warning was of a ‘wind storm’.  We woke in the night to the sound of wind roaring in gust past the windows. Clouds are now skimming overhead but the birds are out diving and  pirouetting in the air.  It’s really bad when the birds go to roost.
Yesterday’s trip to the Slain Castles of Hay Clan history was terrific.  Now today we’re off to Delgatie Castle given to Gilbert Hay by Robert the Bruce. This connecting with roots is moving.
Laura is up getting ready for breakfast. We started out dressing for breakfast but now just ensure we’re decent and fit in with the rest of the bleary eyed tourists.
I made reservations for Angus Beef dinner tomorrow night.
We’ll do the Aberdeen Gallery or Maritime Museum tomorrow.  We’ve found the post office and are sending gifts and some extras back do we don’t have to carry them. We’ve been enjoying pictures of the god kids.  Waye’s been interested in my journey about Grandad’s home of origin.  John Hay and Jessie Marr of Aberdeenshire.  I may learn more genealogy yet.
