Algadones, Mexico

My dog’s butt hair has been trimmed by the excellent vet service,  “Myhealthypet.”  I brought madigan here last year when he had diarrhea and the terrific woman vet gave him the right medication that cured it in a day.  Today the young English speaking office manager took care of Madigan.  He normally has to be sedated for grooming. He’s that anxious. But they had no trouble with the quick trim.  He gets groomed 3 or 4 times a year with the Vet but his butt hair can get tangled in his poop and create a problem between grooming.  Not now. He’s good to go.  I’m so pleased.
Now I’m entertained watching my very attractive young neighbour organizing her camper and truck. She looks like she’s one of the new ‘van girls’, vacationing on her own with all the gear. Much like I’ve done. But it’s a thing for the girls and they have all these YouTubes of their adventures. She was out with her phone filming her truck and setting.  I noticed her because she has 2 little dogs. Us dog folk like carravaning.  What impresses me is her organization. She has all the gear out for back packing and appears ready to hike in the desert hills with a water bladder she just filled at the tap.  I’ to even set up my barbecue yet and reall do have do some organization of the bins under neath. It’s a work in progress..
I’ve talked to several patients that are working out of high school then getting jobs to pay for travelling or getting jobs over seas with rescue services and ESL.  When I bicycled across Europe with Bahia at this age we were unusual in our Canadian set.  The Europeans and Australians were doing walk about but we were ahead of the curve.  Now it’s these people with camper, van or RV.  There’s an older woman next to her in her own RV. A couple down from me have a motorhome like I do, bigger, with a truck they tow. The fellow across from them who I’ve talked to has a Harley Trike and toyhauler.
I’m thankful for the Vespa though enjoyed having the Harley here a couple of years back.  I’d rather a  little Maverick truck to tow behind.  Right now the wind is 12 mph and that’s alone is a bit of a cross wind. I’d like to travel into Yuma

I enjoyed my Mocha. I was sorry I forgot to charge my iPad so couldn’t sit there and write like I enjoy.  Back here at the home base I’m enjoying journaling. I’ve roasted some Ethiopian Coffee beans.  I’m booked here another week and have done all the things I need to do in Algadones, dental, optical, veterinary, jewelry, leather bags, Christmass gifts.  I just don’t need to return but have booked a couple of weeks at Sleepy Hollow RV Park run by the Quechuan Tribe.  I supposed if I wasn’t already booked I’d move up to Yuma or return to Fountain of Youth.  I’d like to see if the RV repair pace has a part for the Thor. It’s not essential. Just a light switch in bathroom but as the panel is right there for the whole unit so I’ve not needed the light switch in the bathroom.

I just swiftered the floor. There’s always tasks. I liked that God needed Adam to manage the Garden. Never underestimate the importance of maintenance.

I’m thinking a nap is indicated. It’s already noon and I’m also thinking of catching up with work.

I could also get out the guitar, something I’ve been meaning to do too.  So many choices and possibilities and nap comes to mind.

Thank you god for this day. Thank you God for the successful trimming of Madigan’s butt hair.!
