Los Algodones, Coffee Shop

I had a 3 hours lunch break so decided to walk over to Los Algodones for coffee.  I had been considering having him groomed and his nails clipped but decided he could wait till March or April. His hair isn’t too long that he’s too hot and when we return north he’ll like his fur coat.  When I discussed it with Laura in texts she thought this was best too.

I thought to do laundry.  I’m okay. I might do it tonight. I could have lain on the recliner and read but I really think I’m leaving tomorrow.  I’d like to go to Fountain of Youth with mineral waters.  I’ll phone them later about vacancy . A week there would be heading west and north. I’d thought to go down to Baja but with uncertain politics I think heading to the coast is best. 

This is fun. I saw Sandra and Israel and bought more jewelry for Laura. I also bought a Benedictine cross for myself and another for a friend.  She admired my dental work and gave me a big hug. Asked me to pass on best wishes to Laura who liked her so much when she was here with me last year.

I bought some pataprazole at Trudy’s .  I so rarely use it, may once a year but it’s great to have it in a medicine cabinet. I’ve been able to provide it to family when they had indigestion. I’m coming to terms with the idea of moving along. It’s been so pleasant at Sleepy Hollow and Winterhaven that I could easily stay longer but do have an itch to move on.  

Despite the horror stories of flu and bad weather in Vancouver I feel revived by the sun and miss that next phase in the journey.

The war was going on in the multiverse.  Vast armies of AI and tech smashing into each other causing the parallel worlds to shimmer and shiver.  No one knew what the wars were about.  Like the wars of the old Gods.  The massive events just broke out and shook the fabric of the universes.  Weird people got elected.  Unusual sexual practices took place. Strange lights flicked on and off in the skies. All manner of speculation occurred. Then it stopped and people returned to planning birthday parties and camping trips.

A motorcycle sounded loudly as the young delivery man rev’ed his two stroke engine turning on the road.  A call for food and an excuse to race the engine and style down the town street.

A pretty girl with dark black hair watched him go.  She was thinking of having children again now that the war in the multiverse wasn’t stirring up the insanity in her world.  A child would be nice.  The man on the Honda looked good to her.  

The platoon that hoped to use the black hole to explore the phenomena that was just alien readied itself for the journey through the black hole.  How can anyone be ready for an event no one else had done but there were those who believed and others who funded the research.

I’m going to have to head to the border. That’s the uncertainty . It’s taken as long as an hour to cross but usually I’m able to leave in a half hour.
