Fountain of Youth RV Mineral Hotsprings Resort — Friday Jan.16

I’m tired after 15 minutes in Lobster Pot. I’m recovering before taking the Vespa and the little guy to visit Salvation Mountain in Nyland.  We’ll take the Vespa.

Last night I had a wonderful dream of snowmobiling with my father, He was on the seat in front of me. We had a great time coming down a mountain but when I looked back up I was concerned about us flipping but I trusted his and my weight would do fine and gunned it up the mountain and past a truck stuck on the side.
I love dreaming of family and friends and dogs. I feel they’re visitting me.
I was at an AA meeting here and always feeling spiritually inspired after such meetings. Lots of folk and in person.  I was at another at Bombay Beach.  The meetings are a real attraction of FoY in addiction to the hot springs, little dog park and the proximity to Bombay Beach.
I had a week of work and it was tiring.  I feel good about it.  I feel I am serving a purpose and glad for the income to pay for this Thor Hurricane which I love.
While I try to stay in the present which is where God is I find my thoughts skipping forward to spring , taking Laura to the Whistler RV park and Harrison Hot Springs.  We’ve gone frequently with the Truck and Camper but I’m really looking forward to going with the Thor. Also I’m thinking about taking the Thor over to the island for a couple of weeks or so this year.  I want to get a little Maverick hybrid to tow but that’s another learning curve. For now the Vespa is working fine though I’m a bit anxious about loading it.  Renting the car in LA made me appreciate 4 wheels and I’m tending towards that as a little truck would serve so many functions. I could trade in my Mini but the cost is still challenging.

Carney has gone to China and said he’s pleased to negotiate the New World Order. He actually said it and then back pedaled The WEF meetings is coming up and I really would like to see the American trash this Climate Change fraud and the WHO/UN scam.  Net Zero, the Carney gospel is just hustle and the move to digital id and consumption restriction is 1984 in a big way at the very time when we have the capacity to be collectively wealthy .  I fear that government is massive mismanagement and globalism.  Centralization of neo communism is rife with corruption.  I’m getting sucked into FB and social media posts spending too much time there when I could be doing more valuable things like writing books, playing, guitar, walking the dog, anything but social media.

I could also be meditating more and seeking conscious contact with God.

It’s visually very beautiful here.

I just saw a big bee and asked FB , mainly Rob Scagal , what it is . When Ifirst saw it I thought it was a hummingbird it was that big.

Thank you Lord for this day.

Graeme had his catheterization and is out of doing okay.

Laura says she’s getting her nails done.

I completed my medical license renewal this morning and emptied the black and grey water tank. I’ve got laundry to do today or tomorrow.  It’s a nice day with little wind so a good day for a Vespa ride the 12 miles to Nyland.

Thank you Jesus.

Fountain of Youth Mineral Hot Springs RV Park and Spa, Nyland California, by Sultan Sea, Wednesday, Jan 7. 2026

This is the view this morning. I feel truly blessed and touched by God. I love the expanse of sky with layered clouds annd blue sky poking through abone the  California palm trees.  In my prayers and meditations today I was struck by the thought that God is everywhere.  Omnipotent, Omnipotential, Omnipresent. Still I personally feel him most here. I was here last year and felt so relaxed and at peace that my awareness increased.  Here I’m on a work cation with virtual satellite communications and consultations continuing 30 hours a week. But today is a rest day.

Yesterday I left Hollywood RV Park in LA.  The staff were incredible.  They’d guided me into my spot when I arrived and kindly assisted me leaving.  How comforting.  My anxiety on departure was that I’d hit a car making the turn and not considering I could exit a slightly different way with way more room. My whole stay with Hollywood RV had been so welcoming and wonderful.  The weather could have been better for Laura but despite the ‘atmospheric river’ rains we were mostly inside for those at the LACMA, GETTY and Huntington Library.  All of these museums and art galleries were so inspiring.  Eye candy for the heart and soul. On sunny days we walked the Santa Monica Pier and sat outside in the park. Each day we walked Madigan who loved this dog friendly oasis in the freeway city.

I prayed leaving.  The Thor Hurricane is the biggest bus I’ve driven and after the Enterprise Mitsubishi Mirage compact rental it was something getting use to the beast again.  I’m still getting use to the noises too and turning from Balboa onto Roscoe there was a new crash I thought was the refridgerater but I couldn’t look back and couldn’t stop. I was soon on the freeway going north then east and then through Pasadena.  It’s a 12 lane challenge.  I just have to watch my width and speed and passing cars and huge trucks. I mostly followed some professional truck driver and prayed.  There was sicky smell of vinegar.

It wasn’t until a couple of hours later that I had a rest stop to pull over into and find out what the crash was.  Sure enough the fridge door had opened and a bottle of apple cider vinegar was lying on its side open.  I cleaned up with cloth thinking that the apple cider vinegar would cleanse the air somehow. I was glad to open the windows and Madigan liked the walk at the truck stop.  From there on it was 6- 8 lanes then 4 lanes and we we were passing through Palm Springs.  We’d survived LA freeways and now were headed for the Sultan Sea.

What a grand vision this was.  I could see for miles.  The Salton Sea had figured in a Bosch episode. We’d been watching the Hollywood Detective series as part of our immersion in LA, loving, Harry, Maddie, Honey, Edgar and LT and the two older duo of comic relief detectives.  We’d see places we’d been or recognized now watching the series at night.  I enjoyed Salton Sea for Bombay Beach and the coffee shop there I’d loved to ride my Vespa to from Fountain of Youth.  Then I was passing through the gates. I’d reserved number 19, near the pools behind the office, same as where I’d been the year before. I enjoyed the walk for exercise with the dog to his small dog park.  We were here

I told myself not to get cocky. I had to land the monster machine and set up.  It was a challenge as I had to back in but I didn’t hit anything though got out of the bus half dozen times to check. It really was easy but I’ve done so many stupid things in the past that I have to double check and triple check. Yet there I was park break on extending the leveling jacks and putting out the slide.  Everything was fine.  My hose didn’t fit so something had gone wrong and I’d need another hose. The new sewer hose was just fine.

My chest almost burst with gratitude and relief. I was here and I was set up and I was parked for 10 days and would likely extend another week.  It was hot and dry and sunny and I’d made it.  All the way from Vancouver in this new to me Thor motorhome.  I was going on to Yuma eventually but that was only a day’s drive on country freeways. The challenge each year is the LA freeways and foothills.  Thanks to Larry and Peter I’d had well situated drive through RV stops and mostly avoided night driving.  I felt confident about the return.  Last year I’d returned in late February a little early missing Laura, friends and the routines of home.  Just as my friend George shared he’d missed the green and forests after sometimes in the Southern California dry.  I love it for the health for my lungs but have to admit I am often thinking of times in Whistler, Clinton, Harrisons’s, Princeton and the Islaznd.  Today I’m loving the palm trees, Hot and dry.

Now that I’ve had my first morning coffee it’s time to walk Madigan up to his little dog park where he made some friends yestedazy.  I spoke with some other northern Canadians who come here regularly and thought of Dr. Willie Gutowski who winters in Desert Springs.  Snow birds of a different feather.  Willi introduced me to the Mariana Islands where we worked as physicians for a few years loving the people and place and the tropical clime. I have been so blessed in mentors and colleagues and family and friends.

Thank you God for this life and times. Thank you for getting Laura safe home on Air Canada and I and Madigan and Thor here.  Thank you Jesus.

Hollywood RV Park Homes - Los Angeles - Sunday - Dec. 28, 2025

Sunshine, glorious sunshine!  Another hot day. Yesterday was sunny too.  Blue skies.  Laura was sitting at the picnic table reading. Walking Madigan I really appreciated the after rain scent in the air. Earthy smells.  Clean.  Happy trees, leaves and birds.
I drove out in the morning to get Breakfast Burrito but the place was closed so I came back with Egg and Sausage McMuffins with sides of bacon for Madigan. That was it for activity.  I investigated the kitchen outflow water leak and decided it was beyond my scope. I’d have to pull up more floor or something to access it. I could see it but not reach it.  A loose hose clamp perhaps.  Lisa at the office recommended Phil who I called and will come on Wednesday.
I’m working Monday all day and Tuesday we’re going to the Geddy.
Laura sat at the table with Madigan. She walked him too. I lay on the couch reading.  It’s a book of intrigue from the Vatican and Medici.  I read a bit, check facebook and X , then nap, then read, then throw the ball for Madigan. Then I pet Madigan. He jumps on my face and lies on my chest.  Then he chases his tail barking at it. Then he sits on the table and gets a massage of his head back and ears.
Meanwhile I’m napping and reading and scrolling social media some more.  Later we snack.
We ordered Domino Hawaiian Pizza with the thin crust and balls of garlic bread.  We began binging Bosche again.  Jeri Ryan from Startek Borg episodes was a marvellous gorgeous villain.  I loved her and the whole dirty police episode and the politics of city and church and race.  It’s all more poignant because we’re in Hollywood and recognize some of the streets and places where the action occurs.
I looked on the map and Bosche’s house is indicated .  Laura loves Bosche too.  “I’ve seen all the episodes.’   I d not seen these as I’d only become interested when the daughter joined the police. Here’s she’s still a teen ager.  I’m enjoying the relationships of Leutentant, J. Edgar, his prolifiler wife and comic pair.  The relationships are like Friends but with purpose.
Today’s another day with no plans but a meeting.  Maybe more of the same with Bosche in the evening . I suggested to Laura we could go back into Hollywood now that’s it’s not raining Maybe visit Bosche house.  Very much the tourist thing.  She enjoys the rest from work.
I’m thankful. Grateful.  I love being here in the Thor with Laura and Madigan.  It’s peaceful and cozy.  Another day in LA.

Hollywood RV Park, LA - Dec. 19, 2025. 820 am

I’m enjoying the morning sunshine.  I’ve prayed and meditated.  I’m ambivalent about going to church this morning.  There’s a service at St. Mark’s Episcopalean at 10 am that welcomes dogs.  Yet my desire seems to be to lie on the couch some more.  My backs hurts is the best excuse.  I have been busy since I arrived and the days coming down. A day of rest would be desirable.  I’ll be going to church for Christmas.  I’m not sure about community.  I like the Hollywood RV Park.  A real mix of people with some obvious eccentrics.  I could see a movie being made here .  Trailer Park Geezers, maybe.  The dogs are a hoot.  I’m looking forward to the Fortune of youth hotsprings and the little dog park.

Laura is coming tomorrow. We’re excited.  I pick her up at LAX at 1145.  I leave here at 10 as it says it’s an hour or so drive.

Today I have two errands, to pick up my laundry and to go to Home Depot to pick up a new sewer hose. I changed the sheets and pillow cases and put out fresh towels for Laura. I’ve filled the freezer and fridge and put out the barbecue on the table.

Our plan is the Griffith, LACounty Artmuseum, the GETTY, and Stanta Monica Pier ,Rodeo Drive and Hollywood central.  We’ve three weeks so that’s sufficient.  I’ll see what else Laura wants to do.  There’s the little dog walk here that’s part of our daily adventure. So far he’s pooped regularly, yesterday morning and evening.  There’s lots of great smells for him.  He didn’’t like the drive to Sim Valley and I wasn’t pleased when their RV parts store wasn’t open.  HE was panting I think because he was anxious and I wouldn’t let him sit on my lap. The same occurs in the Motorhome. In the camper and truck he could lead against and that must have stilled his anxiety. The touch.  Now he pants. I pet him and he settles but I have to keep him always from my ‘cockpit’ since I’m concerned about our safety. He’ll be pleased to have Laura visit.  She spoils him and he’s comforted when we are together. I am too.  Older I’m feeling more lonely and vulnerable. I resisted sliding down that slippery slope.  I liked Clint Eastwood on aging saying “I refuse to let the old man in”.

Madigan is up on the table again.  He got up to see a neighbour going to their car and leaving. Then he stayed. He likes to be close.

I am grateful for him.  He’s good company.  I like that he gets me out walking each day.  I’ve been talking to him more.  He seems like a little kid but he’s a middle age dog and that comes out with his grumbling. I do like his enthusiasm.,

A couple of the young girls have walked by in white t shirts and shorts .  One got in her Fiat and drove away. That woke up Madigan.  I think she’s in the Class C motorhome beside me.  The other girl walked by looking like she was trying to find a better signal for her cell phone. Earlier a kind of older hippy like woman with long hair and flowing multihued clothes walked by.  The Ladies is a cross from me.  That’s a draw.  The men that have walked by have been older were characteristic slants from former back or limb injuries.  We are not ‘spry’.  I middle aged robust bearded man walked by.  I don’t even have all my curtains up and it’s a lot to see.  I like the wakening.

I had a shower.  May have another cup of coffee. I put liniment on my back and am using it as an excuse to consider the couch. I’m also thinking the vibrator pillow could improve on that idea.  I have loved lying on couches reading since I was a child. My father’s favourite place to.  Watching tv.  Then mom got them the reclining chairs and they both took up station in the evening watching tv with tv trays. My brother other I would then get the couch , both of us or one of us would sit on the carpeted floor with a pillow watching NHL.  We watched hockey as a family.  Mom made pop corn. It was a winter tradition

Madigan is very interested in the Fiat that has returned . The girl is wearing a white hat and bulk grey sweater with Nike black shorts and running shoes. Madigan jumped up on the table to watch her walk from the car to the Class C.  I am a Class A motorhome. When Iwas buying mine I learned that Class A referred to the big window versus the regular truck window on the Class C. I do love my Class A windscreen which makes driving feel like I’m in a movie theater.  I just Madigan’s picture when he looked back at me.

I don’t know what the state of the world is yet. I’ve not ‘checked’ social media. The prescribed media is ICE, Climate Change, Governemnt Corruptin in Canada and the US, Anti semitism, bombing Syria ISIS, bombing Venezuelan drug boats, taking over Venezuealan assets, continued Quebec partisan milk demands yet again, the 51st state and Alberta independence, lost of free speech and Muslim war on British ‘values’.  Carnie saying Canadian values are Muslim values.  It’s all so bizarre and predictable with daily absurdities.  I like looking at Sidney Sweeney.  She’s a piece of apple pie adn ice cream.

It’s a down day.  I could be organizing to make progress on my book but frankly I like the down day.  There’s still time to get to church but another coffee/or walking Madigan for his morning poop are more appealing.

Thank you Jesus. Thank you Holy Spirit. Thank you God.

Journal - Burnaby - Thor

The long weekend is passed.  Madigan and I walked Laura to her little red Smart Car and she headed back to her Bute apartment home.,  Madigan barked but wasn’t as upset as he’s been in the past. I think he’s learning ‘objects constancy’ . That’s the term we use in child psychology for when a baby drops something and doesn’t believe it disappeared.  I believe Madigan is begging to believe Laura will return or we’ll visit her but she’s not ‘gone’.
He adores her and she loves him.  I believe he sees her in some mixed up Oedipal way as his mommy he’;d like to hump.  I love how much he enjoys our walks together, part of a bigger pack,  Also he works the room.  Has her throw his toy till she tires then comes to me to ‘fetch’.  It’s a family atmosphere.
I didn’t do anything this weekend.  A few errands, a few calls to pharmacy, a meeting, a swim, walks and mostly preparing and eating meals and reading novels.  I love hugging Laura.  I like kissing her too,
The Pride weekend was on with the parade and crowds and I miss seeing it but frankly traffic and crowds are barriers to me going to events. I’d much rather have gone camping with the Sober Riders in Keremeos.  Maybe next year.  I have been enjoying life in the new Thor Hurricane motorhome, barbecuing outside, sitting in lawn chairs in the sun.
I really am enjoying For All the World the Apple TV Science fiction historical drama based on idea that Cold War continued with NASA and the Russians having moon colonies. Last night they had a mars colony and were trying to capture an asteroid.  It’s captivated me like the Sons of Anarchy, Yellowstone, and Breaking Bad series did.
Madigan had an accident with diarrhea I cleaned up in the morning. Then he didn’t poop all day and I walked him for over an hour before he did. He’s had lose stool this morning.  I’m thankful for the paper towel and comet and the new wet swifter.
Now it’s work.  Yesterday’s BC Day civic holiday will make it a short week. I’ve just signed up for the UBC Pacific Psychopharmacology conference.
First the long term neighbour across from us left then the neighbour on the left and now the neighbour on the right has pulled out.  All this activity has me wanting to head to Logan Lake like I did a couple of years back, enjoying swimming each lunch hour.  We’ve considered going away for the Labor Day Long weekend but didn’t find a good RV campground open. Our first choice was Whistler Campground and next Harrison.  It’s a popular weekend for camping and everything seemed booked up.  I may look more.
I’d best get settled into the office seat and begin the days telemedicine work.
Thank you God for this weekend.  Thank you Jesus for all your blessings.

Monday Morning, Mid June

Laura told me she woke at 4 am.  We’d watched episodes of Rookie till 10:30 pm after the Barbecued pork chops, wild rice and corn I’d served for dinner.
Yesterday was a good day. I attended St. Barnabus Church and enjoyed Martha’s sermon on the Trinity.  It was good to ride my Harley. I’d left Madigan home with Laura.  On the way back I’d stopped at Home Hardware to pick up 3M Command damage free hooks to hang pictures in the new Thor Hurricane motorhome.  Laura said she and Madigan has slept in.
After coffee we’d done the hour walk to the duck pond and back. I’d taken pictures of a heron and a red winged black bird.  It was a good hike.  Reading westerns and napping in the afternoon.
The American Army 250 year anniversary coincided with President Trump’s 79 year birthday.  I thought him older but then I’ve become older. Mentally I don’t notice it but physically my back complains.  Apparently he’d watched France’s military parade with macron years past and wanted the same for America.  I enjoyed it.  Disappointingly the left Democrats tried to upstage the national event with protest riots claiming it a “no king’ day.  Ironically it appeared to be mostly retired white middle class people. ICE was rounding up and deporting illegal aliens.  I was shocked to see that in the past previous presidents had done this for 10s of millions. This is the back bone of the black market economy and obviously central to the criminal class. One notice said that $500 a day was being offerered for ‘protestors’ to march. I remember decades back when $50 was the going rate for the weekly DTES fashion march.  Soros is under investigation in Congress for funding these events that become riots.  BLM and Antifida the Marxist communist organizations have millions in funding from his ‘open borders’ , the migration movements that are providing ‘scab voters’.
I enjoyed the military parade on uTube.  In the 60’s my attraction to Vietnam protests was principally the gorgeous women, great music and marijuana.  I suspect 90% of the crowds of the day were there for that.  We all wanted to ‘give peace a chance’ and ‘all we need is love’.  It was before the Beatles wrote ‘we don’t want a revolution’ and hypocrisy wasn’t in full swing.  Today it looked like the sort of crowd that came out for the fireworks  at the Military Parade and the Protests before the illegals and rioters took over.  I remember leaving a demonstration as it went off rail when I was younger and loved Gandhi and Martin Luther King.  This pro terrorist anti Israel Hamas backed crowd is a different kettle of fish.

I remember Ganesh telling us that the jewel thrives that broke into his store and robbed it were a gang that travelled all over the US and Canada coinciding their one day in and out robberies on flights with riots.  Criminals are sophisticated.  I never got a 100 inch color tv at a peace rally in my day but that seems more the attraction now the only fans and legal pot have made that attraction less appealing. Certainly the lawless and illegal aliens had a major reason to want their ‘gravy train’ to continue.  Lots of motivation but not godly by any means. Peace and love had been spiritual but today it’s mostly like the Buffalo Springfield say, ‘people carrying signs, mostly say hooray for our side’.  Gordon Lightfoot’s Black Day in July is more like it but the participants seem more like ‘rebels without a cause’.  Putin described his days as a KGB agent in Europe promoting the anti war rallies to undermine the western world. I’m old enough to appreciate law and order today.

Today Laura accepted the coffee i made for her before we carried her stuff to her car.  She’s terrific coming mostly for weekends. I used to go to her place before Saipan when she lived in a suite that accepted dogs and parking downtown wasn’t such a challenge.  Now she’s been driving out to see us.  Madigan barks when she drives off waving in her red SMART car.  He really likes when we three are together, a bigger gang.  He and I are buds but Laura is his love.  He’s sleeping again.  At least we put up the picture Laura’s sister, Carolyn gave us.  It has Gilbert riding on the motorcycle with me. It personalizes the space just as the hanging of knots and nautical signs my brother Ron gave me does.

We walked around the park. I prayed.  In my mind I am asking God to help me know him and to show me the way he wishes for me today.  I felt lifted higher as I mentally expressed gratitude for Laura’s visit, the walk with Madigan, the greenery and tranquility of the park. I really like the elegance of the Thor.  I booked the long weekend in Sunshine Valley as a trial run. We plan a few weekend trips so that I’m ready for the snowbird drive south in winter to Long Beach, Fountain of Youth and Arizona.  I am really enjoying being a virtual doctor.  I like helping patients but I don’t like going into the city or even offices. For so many years I had offices in my home or on my property. Today I still see people at home but mostly work on video and phone with weekly trips for a half day to the clinic. Then when I go away to the woods or the sun I take my laptop top and ipad and iPhone with me and thanks to Starlink and cell coverage with the Oscar program I’m able to do psychopharmacology, assessment and therapy.

The big event for me on the weekend was running out of propane so not having hot water to shower. Thanks to Propane Depot I bought the connector and was able to fill the Motorhome partially from the propane tank I have for barbecuing.

I’m enjoying Russel Brand. I’ve followed his sobriety journey and enjoyed his Christian baptism.  He too thinks of reality as potentially a digital cyberspace product of the gaming universe of our present.  I feel the lighteners of being when I consider the space within atoms and that gravity remains controversial. Teletransportation and communication make enlightenment much more tangible.

God is omniscient.  He’s everywhere, everything. I am God and God is all.  He’s omnipotent, all powerful.  I wake up each day with pleasure in the day.  It once was a struggle and I had horrible nightmares but today my dreams are commonly of journey and places. Increasingly I have memories of positive experiences, My perspective is lifting. I’m looking up to God.  I’m lifting my head and feeling lifted on eagle’s wings. I love that feeling and sense of expansiveness.  God is omnipresent. I meet him in the now I’d like a more articulate communication less mysterious, less the wee small voice but I know that all of my life is God’s communication and it’s good, I thought the other day that my mortgage was a partnership with the bank and rather than thinking negatively I saw this as a relationship and more evidence of positive participation.

This week is the G7 and I’m looking forward to PM Carney making better financial decisions for Canadians so we can collectively benefit from the advances in AI and nano technology. I am thankful for the radical abundance available. I was really glad when both the US and UK back Israel attack on the terrorist regime of Iran. This is all just news.

In my personal world I felt the wind therapy that Dave and Rogina and Carolyn talk about when they get on the motorcycles and ride I do feel that on my Harley. My Vespa is so enjoyable like the best enhanced bicycle in the city but my Harley seems a country road machine and sings to me when I’m on it.

I am grateful and so appreciate each day of sobriety and all the gifts of recovery and love of God.  Thank you Jesus.

God, gratitude

Thank you God for this day. Thank you for the sunshine and blue skies, the cliches, the fresh air, the green grass and trees, the little birds darting about the manicured bushes. Thank you for peace of mind. Thank you for the good sleep and rest and pleasant dreams.  Thank you for my home on wheels. Thank you for family and friends. Thank you for work. Thank you for entertainment and distraction. Thank you for the desire to know you more. Thank you for a lifetime of accomplishments. Thank you for purposely and meaning. Thank you for the loves intimacy and friendship. Thank you for meditation. Thank you for walking and dogs. Thank you for vehicles.

It’s a new day.  I am here in my motorhome. My friend from childhood is buying a trailer home even now. I’m pleased for him. He once lived in an RV in the hills of LA. He has a large family. They care for him. I’m preparing to reunite with family.  I have a long drive ahead. I pick up my truck and camper in a couple,of days.  I brought the Honda 3200- generator home from the storage locker last night. It will provide electricity to my Starlink so I can continue my virtual work.  I’ll only need that wheel I’m boon docking. Other times I stay in campgrounds with electricity. I hope to do a mix.  It’s a week travel to Ottawa.  I’ll take a week or so to visit.  I’m playing it by ear.  The settled world doesn’t understand the variables of travel. I pray I’ll make it there and back without a glyph.  It’s twice the distance I go in winter.

This winter I’m planning on heading south in my new Thor Hurricane motorhome. I want to do shakedown drives to Whistler RV.  Maybe Laura can get the time off for the Pemberton Lillouett loop. I’ve wanted to do that again. I’d thought of doing it on the Hzrlye with Madigan on the back.  I’m planning on taken the motorcycle to Spokane this summer. There’s an IDAA conference at the end of July.  The world conference of AA is the first we’re.  50,000 plus coming to Vancouver to celebrate sobriety.  I’ll be able to visit with friends I’ve met around the world. Just being a part of something so spiritual and inspirational will be a joy.  It will be like the North Shore round up or IDAA on steroids. A busy schedule.  I celebrate a cake in June as well.  I will have my motorboat back if all goes well.  I’m hopeful but appreciative of ehallenge of the endeavour.

All has gone well. I’ve been praying every day. The good news was that I didn’t need eye surgery.

God is loving.  I came here to see the hologram exhibit in 1987.  I’d so loved the physics of the hologram, that any sliver of the picture could recreate the whole.  I have loved the digital computer with the 1 and 0 creating its own world and foundations of life.  I and God.  Atman.  i and Thou.  I long to know thy will and have the power to carry it out.  Always I try to imagine you in me and of me and the myriad creation emanating from the unity.  I love DNA with its simple code that makes up life.  I remember in high school being moved by the table of elements and later enjoying chemistry seeing  biochemistry in three dimensional images in my student apartment as I studied. I drew diagrams and put them on the wall like I’d done learning French and Spanish with stickers put on all the items in the kitchens.

Now I’m looking at the hanging which Ron gave me with all the knots and international code of signals.  There’s been so much to learn in dance, music, medicine, psychiatry, wilderness, sailing, expeditioning, motorcycleing, hunting, fishing.

I wonder why my back hurts in the morning. I sleep well and am rested to day waking at 6 am . I suspect it’s lack of exercise and stretching. I need to do yoga and tai chi again. I need to swim and hike. I’m so sedentary with work and while Madigan is a good physiotherapist and coach I need to take direction from him and walk more.  I was so impressed with Cathie doing a marathon. It was wonderful to see her begin training last year and completing her task running daily with increasing distance till she did the distance.

I’ve had a coffee and am ready for another. Thank you God for coffee.  Thank you God for yoghurt too.  Thank you God for running water and refrigeration and the furnace and air conditioning that make this place so comfortable.  Thank you for all your blessings and help me always to focus on the positive and to live a life of gratitude.

Thank you Jesus
