Eric was a good man as he spoke kindly with my brother and I about the wishes of my father and my mother. Thankfully, my older brother, who had a filing cabinet as a boy, had papers collected and adult answers to all the gentle questions. I , meanwhile, fixated on the words, "cremation" and "urn", surrounded by coffins in an elegant room where caring men and women knew their business and helped softly.
