Gambler's Anonymous

"I go to Gambler's Anonymous two meetings a week," he told me. "It's a worse disease than alcoholism and addiction. People kill each other over gambling. Everything in my life becomes gambling if I don't go to meetings." "I don't take care for my health. I begin to trust people who are not good for me. Gambling is more powerful disease than alcoholism. It's in all my thinking."
"I don't know much about gambling," I told him. "I don't treat that many gambler's."

Dr. Nady el Guebaly out of Alberta who used to be the president of International Society of Addiction Medicine is the leading authority on gambling and has received funding from the Alberta commission to research this area.
