Pills and Booze

Pills and Booze

by william hay

You promised that you'd love me/In sickness and in health

You promised that you'd love me/And you'd love nobody else

I know you loved your mother/And I know you loved your shoes

And I know you loved your automobiles/I know you loved your booze

How you loved your pills and booze

I know you loved your lies/I know you loved disguise

I know you loved your country club/But you really loved your highs

Marriage of white in a church with white steeples

Marriage of white in a church with high steeples

Dear Bill,
So good to hear you singing again! I'm sure you could almost hear my applause at the end. I kept it down as Anita has not slept well because of a sore tooth, and went back to bed.
I prayed as you sang that you would continue to be a bright light for Jesus. Keep up the good work.
Your biggest fan,
Willi and Anita.

Hi,
Just me again. Could you publish the lyrics; as it was difficult to hear some of the words.
Thanks,
Willi and Anita.

Thank you and I hope you're still drumming. Looking forward to your book coming out. God bless. Bill
